This offering is for a rare Herend (Hungary) early blue under glaze marked footed scent bottle. The Chinese pink rose pattern is especially beautiful on the pure white porcelain and is also enhanced by decorative gilt accents. The footed base is also enameled gold. The colorful vintage embroidery thread replaced the original embroidery thread that was in used poor condition. The gold screw on top fits the neck’s porcelain threads perfectly and adds a final touch of elegance. SIZE: 2 5/8″ x 1 3/4″. The seldom seen blue underglaze mark may be found on a complete chart of all the Herend marks used throughout its history. There is no damage of any type.
